Where this data comes from
Every listing is built from the Rhode Island Board of Accountancy's public roster of licensees, as of October 3, 2026. That roster gives each licensee's name, license number, mailing address, and current term. We publish the name, city, and license number — never the street address, which for many sole practitioners is their home. There are no phone numbers or employers, so this directory tells you who holds an active license rather than what they charge.
City pages list the 1,002 active CPAs with a Rhode Island address, plus 212 licensed firms. Another 252 have an address in another state and 376 have no usable address on file; they are listed separately.
